Day 108: All Clear

From mile 2363.3 to Olallie Meadow mile 2385.8

There was only a little ash on my tent this morning and I smelled no smoke.  The sun came up and it was a beautiful day.  It was still hazy in the distance and where there was supposed to be a great view of Mt Rainier there was nothing.  Still, it was nice to be able to breath.

Through the day I was able to feast on huckleberries and blueberries.  My food sack is almost empty so it’s good I will hit Snoqualmie Pass early tomorrow.  I walked 22.4 miles today and am only 5 miles from the pass.  I could have made it there today but it would have been late.  Tomorrow will be like a full day off.
